TWICE is on a hot streak on the Japanese charts!
Previously, their new Japanese single “One More Time” topped the Oricon Daily Singles Chart for several days in a row, after setting a new record for first week sales for K-pop girl groups in Japan.
Now the single has reached 201,000 units sold and risen to the top of the Oricon Weekly Chart for the third week of October. With this new milestone, TWICE is the first artist this year in Japan (including Japanese artists) to top 200,000 in sales with a debut original single.
“One More Time” is the group’s first original Japanese single. Their first Japanese release, “#TWICE,” has also been experiencing a new rise in popularity.
Congratulations to TWICE! Meanwhile, the group is preparing for their domestic comeback with a studio album, “Twicetagram.”
